Day 3 September 16, 2026- Day in London

In the evening, soak in the atmosphere—attend a performance, relax at a pub, or enjoy the ambience. Tailor your experience to your interests. (3.5-4.5 hours on coach for city tour)

Day 4 September 17, 2026- Travel to York

Travel comfortably by train to the historic city of York, known for its rich heritage and charming medieval streets. Upon arrival, take a leisurely walk to the majestic York Minster, one of the largest and most stunning Gothic cathedrals in Europe. Enjoy time to explore this architectural masterpiece before settling into your hotel and York for an evening at leisure. (2 hour train journey-would take 5 via coach)

Day 5 September 18, 2026- Free Day in York

Enjoy a visit to Castle Howard and spend the afternoon exploring York at your leisure. Walk the medieval city walls, and browse the charming shops of The Shambles. Day 6 September 19, 2026- York to the Lake District

Depart for the scenic Lake District, a region of rolling hills, sparkling lakes, and poetic charm. Stop to explore the quaint village of Grasmere, known for its literary history and breathtaking landscapes. In the late afternoon, check in to your lakeside inn, where you’ll settle in for a one-night stay (3.5 hours travel time on coach).

Day 7 September 20, 2026- Northbound for Scotland

Today we trek north over the Scottish border. Our first stop on our Scottish adventure is a stop at Stirling Castle, former home to Mary Queen of Scots and one of the largest castles in Scotland. After time to explore the castle and grab a bite to eat, we’ll be on to Pitlochry, the charming Victorian town popularized by Queen Victoria’s visits to Scotland, where we’ll stay for 3 nights in a charming family-run inn. (~6 hours driving on coach for the day)

Day 8 September 21, 2026- Piddling Around Pitlochry

Today take a short drive down the road to Aberfeldy to enjoy the spectacle of a working sheepdog demonstration. After a break from lunch, take part in a whiskey distillery tour and tasting back in town, or simply enjoy the afternoon in this magnificent Victorian Highland town. (~1 hour driving on coach for the day)

Day 9 September 22, 2026- Loch Ness

Head deeper into the breathtaking Scottish Highlands, heading toward the picturesque town of Fort Augustus. Enjoy time to explore and grab lunch before going to hunt for Nessie while enjoying a cruise on Loch Ness. (~6 hours driving on coach today)

Day 10 September 23, 2026- Farewell to the Highlands

Today’s journey brings us south and out of the Highlands to visit the historic seaside town of St Andrews, the birthplace of golf and home to a prestigious university and dramatic coastal views. While we can’t secure a tee time at the course, we’ll visit the World Golf Museum where you can learn about the medieval origins of golf, see some of the world’s oldest clubs, and explore golf fashion through the years. Conclude the day with your arrival in Edinburgh, Scotland’s captivating capital, where medieval charm meets modern elegance. (~3.5 hours driving on coach today)

Day 11 September 24, 2026- Edinburgh

This morning, start with a panoramic city tour with a local guide, including admission into Edinburgh Castle. After your morning tour, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, soak in Edinburgh’s unique charm—visit one of the magnificent museums, unwind with a dram of whisky in a cozy Old Town pub, or simply wander the cobbled streets lit by historic lamplight. This evening, gather with your travel mates to enjoy a farewell dinner at a traditional Scottish Night.
